The Woodshed Restaurant

Once an open-sided agricultural building the structure has been respectfully reimagined as an intimate, luxurious and atmospheric dining space, where under the helm of Oscar Holgao (hailing from London Michelin starred kitchens and Green Michelin Starred Coombeshead Farm UK) the rituals of fire, the integrity of ingredients, and the artistry of design come together in quiet harmony.

The transformation celebrates the beauty in craftsmanship, and the honesty of imperfection.Retaining the original concrete slab, weathered beams and corrugated roofing, the interior honours its industrial roots while introducing a palette and materiality grounded in the surrounding hinterland. Dark green zellige tiles, rippled glass chandeliers, onyx pendants, and hand-formed ceramics continue the tactile narrative. Earthy ochres, deep greens and mustard tones reference the natural landscape, punctuated by notes of ‘70s-era luxury nostalgia. The open kitchen blurs dining and theatre, its fire elemental yet elegant. The interior design works in harmony with Holgado’s paddock-to-plate philosophy, both deftly balancing the raw and refined into a memorable experience.

Creating interiors that feel personal, layered, and deeply connected to their surroundings.
